Interrupted time-series analysis of 14,570 violence-related emergency visits at the José Casimiro Ulloa Emergency Hospital in Lima between 2015 and 2024, classified using the WHO typology. The study documents the abrupt fall in visits at the start of the pandemic and the later rebound, and shows that violence did not disappear during lockdown: it stopped reaching the emergency department.

An examination of the budget allocated to disaster risk management in the health services of North Lima: how much is assigned, how much is actually spent, and how far the regulation sits from real response capacity. The underlying argument is that disaster preparedness is decided long before the disaster, on a budget line. Published in Spanish.
